Family Therapy
A space to reconnect, find joy, + understand one another more deeply

Family Therapy
Family therapy can help you navigate hard conversations and major transitions—such as divorce, separations, new family members, addiction, chronic illness, or death—with more clarity, compassion, and connection.
Whether addressing conflict, repairing old ruptures, creating new routines, or celebrating moments of joy, we work together to help each family member feel a sense of belonging, importance, and deep connection within the family.

Couples Therapy for Caregivers
Parent therapy helps you enjoy being on a team—without compromising your values.
Family life can be full, beautiful, and exhausting—and partnerships often get lost along the way. Couples therapy for caregivers offers a space to reconnect, restore trust, and rediscover joy in your relationship.

Together, we explore how early experiences shape our parenting styles and stress responses and work on strengthening communication and shared intention. This work honors each partner and supports relationships that feel more grounded, joyful, and aligned.

Does family therapy work?
WHY FAMILY THERAPY IS EFFECTIVE
Many people don’t initially think of family therapy as an option when they are struggling with parenting challenges, or when their child is experiencing trauma, anxiety, or emotional overwhelm. Often, the focus turns toward “fixing” one family member in isolation.
Family therapy offers a different approach. By supporting the whole system, meaningful change can occur more naturally and in ways that last. When caregivers feel supported and resourced, we often see positive shifts in children. When family members work together on challenges in real time, with the support of a therapist, they are better able to carry these skills and insights into everyday life.
Family therapy creates space for shared understanding, connection, and growth—recognizing that children do not exist apart from the relationships that shape them.

Who attends family therapy sessions?
SIBLINGS. CHILDREN + CAREGIVERS. CO-PARENTS...
You get to decide! Family sessions are flexible and may include any combination of children, siblings, caregivers, and extended or chosen family members. This could be a parent and a child, two siblings, or the whole household.
Couples sessions for caregivers focus on the adult partnership raising children. This may include a widowed or divorced parent with a new partner, grandparents raising grandchildren, or co-parents working together.
What do family therapy sessions look like?
HONORING ALL STORIES + SETTING SHARED GOALS
In sessions, we practice healthier communication, support authentic self-expression, understand each person’s role, and set shared goals.

Sessions may include creative arts exploration, playful activities, cognitive-based exercises, and time to listen without interruption. All emotions are welcome and part of the process—and creating space for a bit of laughter can be an important part of the process.
