Less Chaos. More Magic.
Later bedtimes, shifting routines, and extra helpings of ice cream, summertime can be equally exciting and chaotic.
Our 5-day morning therapy intensives offer kids + teens a creative reset—helping them unwind at the start of summer and feel more confident heading into the school year.
Designed as a short, immersive therapy experience that still feels like summer, our camps offer meaningful support that doesn't always fit into the school year—with options to continue in our weekly therapy groups.

Summer Therapy Camp FAQs
Why isn’t this a half- or full-day camp?
Camp is a therapeutic group run by a licensed therapist. Just under 2 hours allows for depth, creativity, and skill-building without overwhelm.
My child is anxious. Is this still a good fit?
That's totally normal! Many campers are. We move gently, create predictable rhythm, and invite participation — never force it. During our consultation call before camp, we'll discuss ways to prepare your child for a successful week.
My child isn’t an artist. Will they feel out of place?
Not at all. Creativity is a doorway to expression — not a performance. Process over product, always.
My child isn’t neurodivergent. Is camp only for neurodivergent kiddos?
No. Our camps are designed to be inclusive and supportive for all children. While we are highly experienced in supporting neurodivergent kids, the focus of our 'mini-camps' is on creative play, emotional wellness, and connection—skills that benefit every child regardless of how their brain is wired.
My child already has a therapist. Is this too much therapy?
No. It's not uncommon for clients to attend individual therapy and group concurrently. Camp builds peer connection, emotional courage, and embodied coping skills in ways individual sessions alone often can’t. I’m happy to collaborate with your child’s therapist if helpful.
My child has big feelings. Will they do okay?
Yes. Big feelings are welcome here. As a licensed therapist, I’m trained to support emotional intensity with steadiness and skill. Group size is small, structure is predictable, and regulation tools are woven throughout.
Can I enroll in both the June and August camp? Will it be repetitive?
Yes! Each session offers a unique creative focus, so kids are welcome to attend both the June and August week. While the August week will have a similar structure and flow, the focus will be on adapting coping skills to the school setting and supporting the end of summer transition.
Do you offer discounts or sliding scale rates?
Yes. I offer a 25% discount for TriCare and CHP+ clients (code CHPTRI25) and 50% off each additional kid (code MULTIKID50). If cost feels like a barrier, please reach out!
How do I pay with my FSA/HSA card?
If you'd like to pay with an HSA/FSA card, or need a superbill for out-of-network reimbursement, reserve your spot for free now (code FSA), then receive an email to pay through our secure Client Portal. This will ensure your purchase is coded as a medical expense.
What happens after I enroll?
You’ll complete intake forms, then we schedule a brief call to connect before camp begins. If supportive, an individual meeting can be arranged to help your child feel ready and confident stepping into group.
What should my child bring to camp?
A water bottle, a small snack, and clothes they can comfortably move and create in. Transition objects or a favorite stuffy are always welcome. All other materials are provided.
What happens after camp ends?
Camp can be a powerful stepping stone into summer or the start of a new school year. Children leave with concrete coping tools and a sense of shared experience. If continued support would be beneficial, I provide personalized recommendations for next steps.
How can my child continue to receive group support?
Similar groups meet weekly on Sundays throughout the entire year, so if kids enjoy camp, or want continued support during the school year, they can easily transition into our Creative Coping Weekly Sunday Group (ages 5-9) or our Worry to Wisdom Group (ages 10-14). If weekly group is a better fit than camp this summer, reach out!
I enjoyed the parent night! Will you hold more meetings?
I always encourage parents to exchange contact information at our Parent Night if they'd like to stay connected. Many parents opt to join one of our ongoing adult groups that meet regularly throughout the year.
Still have questions?
