Support for Life's Complex Transitions

Divorce

People rarely seek therapy because of just one thing. More often, families, children, teens, and adults arrive carrying layered experiences.

These include loss mixed with change, identity questions alongside relationship strain, or parenting challenges intertwined with school, neurodivergence, or grief.  At Wild Crescent Therapy Studio, I offer creative psychotherapy that honors these complexities.

Below are some of the most common areas of focus I support through in-person therapy in Denver and virtual therapy for teens and adults across Colorado.

Grief

Grief + Loss

Grief touches every part of a person’s life, especially for children and families. Loss may follow the death of a loved one, a major illness, a family separation, or other profound changes that alter a sense of safety and belonging.

I support bereaved children, teens, adults, and families through grief therapy that allows space for expression, remembrance, and meaning-making. Using play, creative expression, and relational support, grief can be held gently—without pressure to “move on” or do it the “right” way.

I am also a Comprehensive Grief Care® Pathfinders Provider through Judi's House.

Parenting

Parenting is deeply relational, emotional, and often overwhelming—especially during times of stress, loss, or transition. Many parents seek support not because they are doing something wrong, but because they care deeply and want to respond with intention.

Therapy can support parents in understanding their child’s emotional world, navigating behavioral challenges, and reconnecting with their own values and inner wisdom. I work with parents individually and within family therapy to foster attunement, confidence, and sustainable connection.

Parenting
ADHD

Neurodivergence (Autism, ADHD, + more)

Neurodivergence is not something to be fixed—it is a way of experiencing and engaging with the world. Children, teens, and adults with Autism and ADHD often face misunderstandings, overstimulation, and pressure to conform.

My approach is neurodiversity-affirming and strengths-based. Therapy may support emotional regulation, self-advocacy, identity development, and family understanding—always honoring each person’s unique nervous system, communication style, and lived experience.

Divorce + Changing Families

Divorce and separation can be disorienting for both adults and children. Even when change is necessary, it can bring grief, confusion, loyalty conflicts, and shifts in identity and family roles.

I support individuals and families navigating divorce through therapy that centers children’s emotional needs, supports healthy communication, and helps families adjust to new structures with clarity and care. Therapy can offer space to process what has been lost while building stability moving forward.

Spirituality

Spirituality

For many people, life transitions stir deeper existential and spiritual questions—about meaning, identity, purpose, and connection. These questions may exist outside of organized religion or alongside evolving belief systems.

I offer therapy that welcomes spiritual exploration without agenda or doctrine. Clients may explore values, intuition, inner wisdom, and meaning-making in a way that feels authentic, grounded, and personally relevant.

queer

LGBTQ+

Exploring gender identity and sexual orientation can be both liberating and complex. LGBTQIA+ individuals and families may face questions of safety, belonging, visibility, and acceptance—internally and externally.

I provide affirming, inclusive therapy that supports LGBTQIA+ children, teens, adults, and families. Therapy offers space to explore identity, relationships, and self-understanding in ways that feel respectful, validating, and grounded.

A Creative + Relational Approach

While these areas are listed separately, they often overlap. My work is grounded in creative psychotherapy that integrates play, expressive arts, mindfulness, and relational presence. Therapy is not about quick fixes—it is about creating space for authenticity, connection, and meaningful growth.

If you are unsure where your experience fits, that is okay. Many clients arrive without clear labels. We can explore what brings you here together.
